Best friend
-best initially means better than the others
-a friend: somebody who has a close personal relationship of mutual affection and trust with another



For me, though, its weird asking question like, "Am I your best friend?"... In my own point of view, that "best friend" thing is mutual. You don't need to say you are best friends and I feel awkward talking about it.



Jers told me once that I could never have many best friend, because it's simply the best, the most among the rest. If I couldn't have many best friend, then, can I have best friendS?



I guess, it's not just limited to one person. It's not just being that one special among the others. For me, as long as that person stand out from the rest of those you meet, then that would be the best.



I can't blame jers though, if he thinks it stays to one, then it's his own standing. But for me, it doest matter if I have ten best friends (yeah!i counted them, but parang isang akong nalimutan? HAHAkidding.) As long as for me, each of them is special and deserves to be called the best.



Whatever this issue may lead to, it's nice to have best friends you can run to... and a best friend as well.
